In addition, you may trade Golden Horns for in-game runes at the Golden Altar in the village. You can find the Golden Altar inside the top building right next to the healer and the quest's board.

Unlike cosmetic weapons, the runes that you acquired during a game will not persist to another game, so you will lose them upon game completion or defeat. However, runes may provide you with additional abilities that can help you throughout the rest of the game.
